Print reserves

Faculty may place books, journal articles, and other materials on reserve at the Annenberg Library. To ensure maximum availability for all users, reserve materials circulate for two hours at a time. Most reserve items are available for overnight circulation one hour before closing. Contact the Circulation desk for additional information.

Some undergraduate reserve materials may be found in Van Pelt Reserve, located on the 1st floor of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, depending on the instructor.

NOTE: When books are placed on reserve in departmental libraries, school libraries, or Van Pelt Reserve, locations are listed in Franklin, the online catalog.

Electronic reserves

As requested, the Annenberg Library provides access to reserve material electronically with respect to current copyright fair use practice. Library staff can assist in setting up Canvas course sites, scanning book chapters and journal articles (or providing links to existing electronic formats), and offering general Canvas support to faculty and teaching assistants.
