Class of 1932 Ivy Day Plaque.

In 1982, 50 years after their graduation, members of the Class of 1932 endowed a fund at the University of Pennsylvania Library with a gift of $100,000. At the time of the gift, Director of Libraries Richard De Gennaro stated: "The Library is the heart of the University and it symbolizes what we are about—the discovery and dissemination of knowledge...On behalf of the students and faculty of the University, I would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude to the Class of 1932 for this wise and generous gift to our Library." The fund continues to enrich the Library collections, and the University community is grateful to the members of the Class of 1932 for their generosity.
