Melanie is the Coordinating Bibliographer for the Health Science Libraries. She is also the liaison and collection development librarian for the Biology and the Earth & Environmental Science departments. She has been at Penn since 1988, working first as a cytogenetic technologist in the Prenatal Diagnosis lab at HUP. Before that, she worked for a large animal veterinary practice, specializing in embryo transfer. Melanie holds a BS in Animal Husbandry from Delaware Valley College of Science & Agriculture, a Post Baccalaureate in Cytogenetics from Thomas Jefferson University, and an MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University.
