The Future of Sharing your Research? The Rise of Preprint Peer Review

Federal agencies and private foundations are moving toward requiring immediate public access to funded research. Preprint platforms offer an avenue for public access that does not require a heft of article processing charge (APC). This option becomes more attractive as a system of journal-independent peer review develops.

Join us for a quick review with these take aways:

  • What are and why use preprint platforms
  • Avenues for peer review and possible next steps
  • How can I benefit from my pre-publication manuscript

We will also discuss Penn Libraries's agreements with a selection of publishers and journals to help you if you do need to publish your research as open access in a journal charging APC's.

RSVP is required for this workshop (in-person and online).
