Goldstein Director of Information Processing

The Patricia and Bernard Goldstein Director of Information Processing supervises a staff of more than 50 people. Working with scores of high-end computers, these library professionals acquire, process, and catalog all of the material that replenishes the Libraries' store of knowledge: journals, books, newspapers, video recordings, microforms, and electronic resources.

As the Libraries continue to adapt to the changing needs of our users, we must acquire and process new types of materials for our collections. We are grateful for Patricia and Bernard Goldstein's support of the Information Processing Center and the Goldstein Electronic Classroom. They and their son Mark, C'83 also supported enormous improvements to undergraduate use of the Libraries. The Mark H. and Bernard Goldstein Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center was enhanced in 2003 with the addition of Mark's Cafe.
